The Kappa Foundation of Delray Beach Inc, was chartered on May 5th, 2014. Several of the men, who were a part of the original charter ceremony in 1983 for the Delray Beach Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., helped to start and are still members of the Kappa Foundation.
The original Ten charter members of the chapter were Brothers, Leroy Baine, Herman Baine, Nathan Collins, William Young, Caesar Allen, Charles Baldwin, Basil Jeffers, David Randolph Sr., Leonard Powell and David Randolph Jr.
The Kappa Foundation of Delray Beach, Inc. is actively engaged in our community and has programs sponsored by the fraternity with the idea of having a positive impact in the Palm Beach County Communities where we serve. Some of our programs include our support for local schools through the adopt a school program, Youth Guide Right mentoring programs, Thanksgiving food drives to help the needy, Student College Scholarships, etc.
All of our members emphatically pursue our Fraternity’s objectives which are to unite College men of culture, patriotism, religion and honor in a bond of Brotherhood; to encourage Honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor; to promote the spiritual, social, intellectual and moral welfare of our members and to inspire service in the public interest of our communities.
